We are seeking a motivated Warehouse Store person / Forklift Operator to join our client based in Kilsyth. As a recognized leader in the garage door industry, our client has built a strong reputation through decades of innovation and expertise. They manufacture and supply a comprehensive range of highquality products, including automatic garage doors, roller doors, garage door openers and safety solutions, serving customers across Australia.

  • Day shift: 9:00am – 5:06pm
  • On-the-job training provided for specialized equipment

  • Variety of warehouse and forklift duties

Key responsibilities include:

  • Operating a Counterbalance Forklift (training provided on conveyor attachment)
  • Loading and unloading trucks
  • Completing forklift pre-start inspections
  • Checking loads are secure and fit for transport
  • Moving goods throughout the warehouse and storage areas
  • Put-aways, dispatch and receiving duties
  • Working with warehouse racking systems
  • Conducting stock takes and inventory activities
  • Using pallet jacks and trolleys
  • Inspecting materials and products to ensure packing specifications are met
  • Stacking pallets and maintaining warehouse organization
  • General warehouse duties, including unpacking products
  • Operating an overhead crane (full training provided)
  • Manual handling of products up to 20kg

About You

  • To be successful in this role, you will have:
  • A current Forklift License
  • Previous warehouse experience
  • Strong forklift operating skills
  • A strong commitment to workplace safety
  • Reliable attendance and a positive work ethic
  • Good attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
  • A willingness to learn and be trained on new equipment.
